Homemade Chili Sauce

This chili sauce makes a great dipping sauce for crab or chicken or it can be used as an ingredient in other dishes.
2 - 14.5 oz. can chopped tomatoes
4 - inch piece of horseradish, finely chopped or grated or 8 Tbsp. purchased prepared horseradish
1/2 cup sugar substitute
2/3 cup champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar
Pinch of salt
Juice of 2 lemons
- Combine the tomatoes. horseradish, sugar substitute and vinegar and salt in a medium pan.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 15 minutes.
- Transfer to a small food processor or blender and puree with the lemon juice.
