Fat Free Pomodoro Sauce

This is an easy tomato sauce that is very versatile. Use it with pasta, zoodles, meatballs or add a little Penzeys Frozen Pizza Seasoning to turn it into a pizza sauce.
Makes about 4 cups 0 WW Blue points / serving
Cooking spray
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 (35.2-ounce) carton strained tomatoes
1/2 tsp. sugar substitute
Kosher salt to taste
1 small bunch fresh basil, chiffonade
- In a pot coated with cooking spray, sauté the garlic until just fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, sugar substitute and basil, bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 30 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt before serving.
