Chile Garlic Oil

You can use this oil as a garnish, for grilling chicken or fish or in stir-fries.
Any crushed red pepper you have on hand can be substituted for the Aleppo pepper.
1/2 cup vegetable oil
8 large garlic cloves, sliced
1 Tbsp. crushed Aleppo pepper
- Heat the oil in a small saucepan.
- Add the garlic and crushed Aleppo pepper.
- Simmer until the garlic is lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Strain into a heat proof container.
- Transfer to a bottle to store.
