Basic Baked Spaghetti Squash

Basic Baked Spaghetti Squash

adapted from CookingLight.com

I like to use ice cream scoop to remove the seeds from squashes and pumpkins. Don't forget to save the seeds so you can roast them.

Makes 4 servings                                        0 WW Blue points / serving

1 (3 lb.) spaghetti squash, cut in half and seeds reserved

Cooking spray

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Place the squash cut side down on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.
  4. When cool enough to handle scrape shred the flesh of the squash with a form.
  5. Serve in place of spaghetti in your favorite dishes.

Enjoy!
