To cook barley
1/2 c barley
about 1/4 tsp salt or to taste (If using canned broth omit)
Bring the water or stock to a boil, add the barley and salt. Return to a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook UNDISTURBED for about 45 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.Barley can be served as is or added to your favorite recipe.
