Asian Style Spicy Green Beans

The mildly spicy sauce on the beans would make them a great accompaniment for any Asian flavored dish.
1/4 lb. steamed green beans, drained well.
1/2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 tsp. chili-garlic paste
1 scallion, chopped

- Heat a small skillet over medium heat.
- Combine water and cornstarch in small bowl, until dissolved; set aside
- Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce and chili-garlic paste to the skillet.
- Add the green beans to the skillet; toss to coat.
- Cook until the beans are heated through and the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Toss in the scallions.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds prior to serving.
